About
Strategy consultant, researcher and practitioner at the intersection of sustainability and industry.
Based in Berlin, working remotely across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I combine McKinsey-honed strategic rigour with deep regulatory expertise and doctoral research in energy transition governance.
I am a sustainability and strategy consultant based in Berlin, working remotely with clients across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. My practice sits at the intersection of regulatory compliance, carbon strategy and supply chain transformation — helping heavy industry, automotive and mining clients turn sustainability from a cost centre into a competitive advantage.
My advisory work spans the full arc from C-suite strategy to operational implementation: designing ESG integration frameworks, building carbon accounting systems, mapping supply chain risks, and structuring green financing. I have advised BMW Group, Volkswagen, BHP, CATL, Novelis, Volvo Group and Siemens Energy, alongside international bodies including UNDP, UNEP and IRENA.
Before consulting, I completed a PhD in Human Geography (Energy Transition) at Durham University under Prof. Gavin Bridge, where I designed and executed a mixed-methods interdisciplinary research project on sustainable resource governance, energy transition policy and water-energy nexus management in Turkey. I also contributed to academic translation work on degrowth economics, building expertise in circular economy, regenerative economics and environmental justice.
I hold an M.Sc. in International Development & Management (Grade: A) from Lund University and a B.A. in Economics (Honours) from Bogazici University in Istanbul. I began my career at McKinsey & Company in Stockholm, advising infrastructure, energy and metals clients on corporate strategy, sustainability impact management, market entry and renewable energy investment feasibility.
I speak English, German, Armenian and Turkish, and work across jurisdictions including the EU, UK, GCC and Turkey. My approach combines analytical depth with practical implementation — I do not just write strategies, I build the systems and teams to execute them.
