1. Terms of Business

All consulting engagements are governed by a separate written contract or statement of work (SOW) agreed between Burag Gurden and the client before the commencement of any billable work. The content of this website does not constitute an offer to contract.

Standard engagement terms include:

• Scope: Defined in writing via SOW, proposal or email agreement.
• Confidentiality: All client information is treated as strictly confidential. I operate under professional confidentiality obligations and, where required, sign separate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
• Intellectual Property: Deliverables are provided under a licence for client internal use unless otherwise agreed. Methodologies and frameworks remain my intellectual property.
• Payment: Invoiced monthly in arrears unless otherwise agreed. Payment terms are 14 days net from date of invoice.
• Cancellation: Either party may terminate with 14 days' written notice. Work completed up to the termination date is billed pro rata.

• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under German or applicable law.

4. Professional Indemnity Insurance

I maintain professional indemnity insurance appropriate to the nature and scale of my consulting practice. Details of coverage, including insurer and policy limits, are available to clients upon request during the engagement scoping process. This insurance covers claims arising from professional negligence, errors or omissions in the performance of contracted consulting services.

5. Accuracy of Information

I make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on this website is accurate at the time of publication. However, I do not warrant that the content is complete, accurate, reliable, current or error-free. Case studies and client references are representative of typical engagement outcomes and are based on real projects; specific figures are illustrative and may be rounded or anonymised to protect client confidentiality.
